Introduction to MIGALABS SOLUTIONS
MIGALABS SOLUTIONS is a Malaysian-based company officially registered with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) in 2020. The name “MIGALABS” draws inspiration from MIGALOO, the renowned albino humpback whale—a rare and extraordinary creature that symbolizes uniqueness and excellence. This same level of distinction is embodied in our flagship product, DeSALT CONCENTRATED. All MIGALABS products are meticulously manufactured, packaged, and labeled in Malaysia, ensuring the highest standards of quality. Additionally, our research and development processes are entirely localized, with certification tests conducted by international agencies to comply with global environmental, efficiency, and quality control standards.
Our Origins and Mission
The founders of MIGALABS SOLUTIONS are passionate scuba divers and underwater photographers who have spent years exploring the ocean’s depths. Through their experiences, they recognized the critical need to protect valuable dive and photography equipment from the corrosive effects of saltwater. Dissatisfied with the performance of existing salt-removing solutions, they embarked on a mission to develop a superior alternative.
In 2018, MIGALABS initiated an extensive research and development project in collaboration with experienced chemists. Over the course of four years, multiple prototype solutions were rigorously tested and refined to achieve the optimal formulation. The result is DeSALT, a product we proudly believe to be the most effective salt-neutralizing solution in the industry.
Product Development and Industry Recognition
Prior to its official launch, DeSALT and DeFOG (an anti-fogging mask spray) were distributed to renowned scuba divers and underwater photographers for evaluation. The feedback received was overwhelmingly positive, validating the effectiveness and reliability of our products. This success paved the way for a highly successful debut at the MALAYSIA INTERNATIONAL DIVE EXPO (MIDE) in 2021.
Building on this momentum, MIGALABS SOLUTIONS introduced another innovative product, DeODORIZER CONCENTRATED, at MIDE in May 2022. The launch generated significant interest, attracting global attention and numerous distribution inquiries. Today, the MIGALABS product range is recognized as one of the fastest-selling dive maintenance solutions, available at retailers, dive centers, and resorts worldwide.
